since i keep being told my short stuff is to short to upload here is one I've done: rest I'm uploading for the hell of it

another world one and two:
Every time I close my eyes I hear another world calling me. A world where I am safe. A world where I am loved.
The call seems to get louder with each breath I take. A world where there is no selfishness. A world where there are no wars.
I wait the day I can finally answer its call. For the person I see to finally reach out and take my hand to allow me to join her world.




No matter what I do I cannot seem to answer the call but the call is beckoning me. It wants me to come and not look back.
I long to answer it and do just that. All I see in this world is selfishness and hate. This is a world where most people only look out for themselves.
The other world, the one I see when I close my eyes, is a wonderful place. There is no fighting. There is no one person against another. Its all about working together and not worrying only about yourself.

I'm in over my head and I can't get out. No matter how I try it just keeps coming and getting harder to lift myself up again. The light is so close yet so far. Every time I get a glance of it there it goes again back into the black void. The water is so dark its impossible to penetrate and I feel as if I will drowned. My chest is getting heavy and its getting cold. There doesn't seem to be any hope so what is the use? Is there really any reason to keep going? Is there any reason at all to keep trying only to fail?
